Ultrasound Transducer Covers

Indications:

The cover allows use of the transducer in scanning and needle guided procedures for body surface, endocavity and intra-operative diagnostic ultrasound, while helping to prevent transfer of microorganisms, body fluids and particulate material to the patient and healthcare worker during reuse of the transducer.

Warnings: 

Before use, you should be trained in ultrasonography. For instructions on the use of your transducer, see your system's manual.
Dispose of single-use components as infectious waste.

See your system's manual for reprocessing transducer between use.

Needle Guide Kits

Indications: 

The intended use of the iLook 25 Needle Guide Attachment and Bracket Assembly when used in conjunction with the ultrasound system and attached to the ultrasound system's transducer is to facilitate proper needle placement to various depths in vascular or other anatomical structures from the transducer surface.

Warnings:

• To avoid the risk of infection to the patient, ensure the bracket is properly cleaned and disinfected. The bracket is packaged non-sterile and is reusable. See “Cleaning and Disinfecting” Section in the Reference Guide.
• To avoid injury to the patient, do not use the bracket if it does not fit properly.
• To avoid injury to the patient, use only SonoSite approved needle guides, brackets, supplies, components and accessories. Other brands may not properly fit on SonoSite transducers.
• To prevent injury or reduce risk of infection to the patient do not use the needle guide kit if the integrity of the packaging is violated, the expiration date has passed, or the product appears to be damaged. Disposable components are packaged sterile and are single-use only.
